My name is Ali and I am a chronic dog lover. I have two rescue knuckleheads of my own, Daphne and Marni, who I affectionately refer to as my teen moms (both had puppies prior to coming to me). Misunderstood pit bulls are a soft spot for me. In October of 2016 I started fostering urgent, timestamped pit bulls and other large breed dogs from a local Philadelphia shelter. I have stories that will make you cry and even more that will bring you to tears of laughter. I have made mistakes of all sizes, but I’ve also refined my approach and established some fostering tactics that I’m quite proud of.
While I do have a full-time job that I enjoy, fostering dogs is my passion. It may sound like a lot of work to balance both, and sometimes it is, but my life has never felt so full since the moment I started fostering. I decided that I must share these stories and experiences. I hope to inspire others to adopt rescue animals, to foster, volunteer or simply to pursue their own personal passion.
I can assure you that there is never a dull day when your life is filled with dogs!
